Il y a l\u00e0 une ambition, ind\u00e9niablement : celle de dire l\u2019adolescence \u00e0 travers ses silences, ses col\u00e8res, ses m\u00e9tamorphoses. Mais comme souvent quand l\u2019\u00e9poque d\u00e9cide de s\u2019exprimer, elle oublie d\u2019<em>articuler<\/em>.<\/h3>\n<p>La pi\u00e8ce s\u2019ouvre dans la lenteur d\u2019un r\u00eave post-apocalyptique : deux silhouettes, anonymes jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019effacement, errent dans une lumi\u00e8re de chambre st\u00e9rile. Leur zenta\u00ef \u2014 combinaison int\u00e9grale, masque total, n\u00e9gation du visage \u2014 fait songer \u00e0 une mode n\u00e9e dans les ruines d\u2019un laboratoire sovi\u00e9tique. On pense \u00e0 Tchernobyl, bien s\u00fbr, mais aussi \u00e0 ces protocoles sanitaires qui ont fait de nous, pendant deux ans, des cr\u00e9atures partiellement effac\u00e9es. David Drouard ne cherche pas \u00e0 s\u00e9duire ici, il cherche \u00e0 interroger, et c\u2019est sans doute \u00e0 son honneur. Mais \u00e0 la lenteur contemplative de cette introduction manque ce que le cin\u00e9ma appelait autrefois un <em>montage int\u00e9rieur<\/em> : un contrepoids, une tension, une n\u00e9cessit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Ce qui suit, le trio, est plus vivant \u2014 plus adolescent, pourrait-on dire \u2014 dans son d\u00e9sordre, ses t\u00e2tonnements, ses tentatives d\u2019affirmation. On y sent le d\u00e9sir d\u2019en d\u00e9coudre avec l\u2019identit\u00e9, non comme fixit\u00e9, mais comme invention permanente. Un Krump surgit, geste de col\u00e8re, puis de construction, puis d\u2019effondrement. Cette exploration du corps comme territoire mouvant trouve son efficacit\u00e9 non pas dans la rigueur chor\u00e9graphique (souvent h\u00e9sitante), mais dans ce qu\u2019elle \u00e9voque : un monde o\u00f9 l\u2019on ne na\u00eet plus <em>quelqu\u2019un<\/em>, mais <em>une multitude en devenir<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Et pourtant, \u00e0 vouloir tout dire du masque et du \u00ab\u00a0je\u00a0\u00bb, de l\u2019avatar et de l\u2019alt\u00e9rit\u00e9, Drouard fr\u00f4le parfois la d\u00e9monstration professorale. L\u2019adolescence, ce n\u2019est pas seulement un d\u00e9bat sur l\u2019identit\u00e9 de genre ou le visage confisqu\u00e9 par la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, c\u2019est aussi une vitalit\u00e9 bouillonnante, une pulsion \u00e9rotique, une violence sourde \u2014 autant de dimensions que la pi\u00e8ce effleure, mais trop peu incarne. L\u00e0 o\u00f9 l\u2019on attendait une incandescence, c\u2019est souvent la p\u00e9nombre qui domine. La lumi\u00e8re est tr\u00e8s belle, certes, mais qu\u2019\u00e9claire-t-elle vraiment ? Une forme, ou une id\u00e9e de la forme ?<\/p>\n<p>Il faut saluer, cependant, ce que <em>La Chair de l\u2019objet<\/em>&nbsp;propose : cr\u00e9er, \u00e0 partir d\u2019un dialogue avec des adolescents, une \u0153uvre qui ne les imite pas mais les interroge, sans les flatter. Le projet est noble. Mais on sent parfois que Drouard, comme ses danseurs, est pris au pi\u00e8ge de son propre masque conceptuel. Ce qui reste, alors, c\u2019est moins un cri qu\u2019un \u00e9cho. Un beau, long, \u00e9l\u00e9gant \u00e9cho, mais un \u00e9cho tout de m\u00eame.<\/p>\n<p>En somme, <em>La Chair de l\u2019Objet<\/em> est une tentative honn\u00eate et ambitieuse de repenser le corps comme archive sensible d\u2019un monde qui vacille.
