Une production initi\u00e9e et port\u00e9e par&nbsp;Le Carreau du Temple et faisant partie des Olympiades Culturelles des JO Paris 2024.&nbsp;<em>Behind the Line<\/em>&nbsp;est n\u00e9 de la rencontre entre Anne Nguyen, Malik Djoudi et Joris Avodo, initi\u00e9e par Le Carreau du Temple.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>Behind the Line<\/em>&nbsp;questionne la notion de franchissement de fronti\u00e8res autour de l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ment central de la ligne, symbole des limites qui nous sont impos\u00e9es par l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, mais aussi des normes qui nous d\u00e9finissent et des objectifs de r\u00e9ussite que nous nous fixons.<\/p>\n<p>La chor\u00e9graphe Anne Nguyen fait \u00e9voluer sur le plateau deux groupes de danseurs dont les identit\u00e9s et les parcours refl\u00e8tent des visions apparemment contradictoires.<\/p>\n<p>Le premier groupe, constitu\u00e9 de quatre danseurs de sa compagnie issus de la diaspora africaine, portent sur le plateau le fruit du m\u00e9tissage entre tradition et modernit\u00e9 sans cesse r\u00e9invent\u00e9 par la jeunesse des grandes m\u00e9tropoles : les danses urbaines.&nbsp;Parmi eux, deux krumpeurs, une femme et un homme, repr\u00e9sentent les danses urbaines d\u2019origine afro-am\u00e9ricaine, d\u00e9positaires d\u2019un h\u00e9ritage marqu\u00e9 par les cons\u00e9quences de l\u2019esclavage et de la s\u00e9gr\u00e9gation, tandis que deux danseurs africains urbains repr\u00e9sentent les danses urbaines d\u2019origine africaine, fruits de l\u2019exode rural africain face \u00e0 la modernit\u00e9, comme le coup\u00e9-d\u00e9cal\u00e9 ivoirien et le ndombolo congolais.<\/p>\n<p>Le second groupe est constitu\u00e9 de quatre enfants et adolescents issus d\u2019un village traditionnel Idaatcha, situ\u00e9 dans la r\u00e9gion des Collines au B\u00e9nin. Tous sont impr\u00e9gn\u00e9s \u00e0 la fois des danses traditionnelles locales et du break,&nbsp;qu\u2019ils pratiquent assid\u00fbment depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es, auquel ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 form\u00e9s par des danseurs venus d\u2019autres horizons, dont la chor\u00e9graphe Anne Nguyen. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Face \u00e0 la globalisation, comment chacun s\u2019approprie-t-il les r\u00e8gles ? Quelle est la place de la tradition dans un monde ultra-moderne ? Doit-elle s\u2019effacer, s\u2019agr\u00e9ger, se cr\u00e9oliser, se compartimentaliser ?&nbsp;Les huit danseurs de&nbsp;<em>Behind the Line<\/em>&nbsp;d\u00e9montrent qu\u2019il n\u2019existe pas qu\u2019une mani\u00e8re unique de d\u00e9ployer son identit\u00e9 au service du d\u00e9passement de soi et des limites, qu\u2019elles soient mat\u00e9rielles ou immat\u00e9rielles. Mais doit-on obligatoirement tendre vers la r\u00e9ussite et le d\u00e9passement des fronti\u00e8res ?&nbsp;La notion de culture est-elle compatible avec une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle dans laquelle les r\u00e8gles sont les m\u00eames pour tous ?
