Le Ballet du Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Gen\u00e8ve r\u00e9unit deux chor\u00e9graphes majeurs de la danse contemporaine pour un programme autour de la musique minimale, qui magnifie la puissance et l\u2019\u00e9nergie de la danse. On retient son souffle quand le rideau s\u2019ouvre : un immense d\u00e9cor mobile de soies p\u00e2les qui habille fond de sc\u00e8ne et coulisses ondule au gr\u00e9 d\u2019un air propuls\u00e9 par une soufflerie. Deux danseurs, puis deux autres et puis un seul s\u2019extraient des volutes perle du d\u00e9cor. Le temps est \u00e0 la grisaille.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">Premi\u00e8re cr\u00e9ation que Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui ait r\u00e9alis\u00e9e pour le ballet de Flandres apr\u00e8s en avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 directeur en 2015,&nbsp;<i>Fall<\/i>&nbsp;est une \u00e9vocation de la saison des feuilles mortes. Et c\u2019est au gr\u00e9 de Z\u00e9phyr que les interpr\u00e8tes, incarnation de v\u00e9g\u00e9tal voletant dans des cieux rougeoyant, investissent le plateau pour, in fine, incarner un ensemble de 22 corps gracieux et fluides, rompus \u00e0 la technique classique et pr\u00eat \u00e0 relever le d\u00e9fi hyper-athl\u00e9tique de&nbsp;<i>Fall<\/i>. Les danseurs se laissent porter par les lancinantes compositions d\u2019un enfant terrible de la musique estonienne, comme des feuilles souffl\u00e9es par le vent : tant\u00f4t trio furtif, puis pris dans un duo enjou\u00e9, puis en solo.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Chacun est l\u2019alli\u00e9 de l\u2019autre dans cette bataille des volont\u00e9s contre l\u2019in\u00e9vitable gravit\u00e9. On chute, on se rel\u00e8ve, on s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve et puis, le temps d\u2019une bourrasque, on efface le souvenir m\u00eame de ce qu\u2019on vient d\u2019ex\u00e9cuter. Les port\u00e9s s\u2019encha\u00eenent \u00e0 une vitesse folle, on y fait le pont aussi et autres cabrioles qui d\u00e9tonnent dans cet univers classique compass\u00e9. Cela d\u00e9tonne d\u2019autant plus que ce trop plein de physicalit\u00e9 se cogne aux d\u00e9licates sc\u00e9nographie et conception lumi\u00e8re de Fabiana Piccioli et Sander Loonen appelant \u00e0 la s\u00e9r\u00e9nit\u00e9, \u00e0 la fluidit\u00e9. Sans parler des airs m\u00e9ditatifs et envo\u00fbtant d\u2019Arvo P\u00e4rt. L\u2019automne, saison d\u2019\u00e9quilibre \u2026&nbsp;<i>Fall&nbsp;<\/i>en manque cruellement. Dommage.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\u00c0 l\u2019origine, cette soir\u00e9e propos\u00e9e par le Ballet du Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Gen\u00e8ve \u2013 et intitul\u00e9e&nbsp;<i>Minimal\/Maximal<\/i>&nbsp;\u2013 se compose de trois courtes pi\u00e8ces.&nbsp;<i>Fall&nbsp;<\/i>mais \u00e9galement&nbsp;<i>Fearful Symmetries&nbsp;<\/i>d\u2019Ioannis Mandafounis et&nbsp;<i>Paron<\/i>&nbsp;d\u2019Andonis Foniadakis. La Coursive&nbsp;&nbsp;ne pr\u00e9sentera ce soir-l\u00e0 que l\u2019\u0153uvre de Foniadakis.&nbsp;<i>Paron<\/i>&nbsp;(\u00ab&nbsp;le moment pr\u00e9sent&nbsp;\u00bb en grec) \u00e9pouse le&nbsp;<i>concerto pour violon N\u00b01<\/i>&nbsp;de Philip Glass&nbsp;&nbsp;dans un v\u00e9ritable tourbillon vertigineux de mouvements cal\u00e9s sur le tempo acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 de la musique. \u00c9l\u00e9gante, fluide, magn\u00e9tique, la partition de Foniadakis est au diapason de la sensualit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u0153uvre de Glass.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">On y sent la compagnie bien plus \u00e0 l\u2019aise que chez Cherkaoui, comme emport\u00e9e par les vagues musicales.&nbsp;Une aisance qui s\u2019explique aussi par une collaboration au long cours entre la compagnie suisse et le chor\u00e9graphe grec. L\u00e0 encore, rien de bien r\u00e9volutionnaire dans le langage chor\u00e9graphique de&nbsp;<i>Paron<\/i>, serti dans une mise en sc\u00e8ne chic, froide (et quelque peu absconse&nbsp;: quid des deux demi-lunes de n\u00e9on accroch\u00e9es au gril du th\u00e9\u00e2tre&nbsp;?). Tout au plus, et c\u2019est d\u00e9j\u00e0 beaucoup, le plaisir non dissimul\u00e9 de voir une compagnie en \u00e9tat de gr\u00e2ce oscillant entre \u00e9lans sensibles et puissance du geste.
